blah!

On my way back to school, my car decided to get sick on me. I stopped to get gas, and then my car wouldn't start. I thought my car was going on strike from the high gas prices (I paid $3.89 a gallon by the way), but it was my battery. Thank goodness someone helped me with getting a charge on my battery - just goes to show that some people in this world still have a good heart!

Well, after a few phone calls back and forth with my dad - he told me to go to Wal-Mart in my college town, and thankfully they hooked me up. I got one of those 3 year warranty batteries with all the bells and whistles.. you know what I mean? It's got a 3 year this, a 9 year that, a SUPER CHARGE MAXX title and all that - and it cost almost $85!! Thank goodness I had the money to cover it. What would someone do in that situation with a debit card if they didn't have enough money in the bank to cover it?! Hopefully one day there will be some system to help people out if they are in a pickle, ya know?

Just got everything back in my room - thankfully there wasn't much since I kept my same room from the summer. It's so weird to be starting my senior year.
