This is wonderful!

I've always wanted a blog, someplace that I can openly express my thoughts and ideas - instead of using an old school black & white composition notebook.. gotta love those things.

Well, it's that time again. The Olympics are on, and I'm glued to the TV, internet, and anything else that's Olympics related. I've been reading up on the athletes, learning about all the new sports, and really investing some time into praying for each of them individually. It's a wonderful thing that we have as Christians - the power of prayer can truly change the world. We're all living proof, of a loving God, to a watchful world. I thank God each and every day that we can go to Him anytime and anywhere.

The one thing in the news that's truly getting to me is the whole John Edwards scandal right now. He came to my college almost a year ago, and his plans and ideas really awed me. I liked a lot about him, but I don't think he'll ever be able to amount another political run after these things the media has said about him. Who knows, we'll find out in a few years.

Well, I've got to start packing. Classes start back up on Thursday - and I'm looking forward to it. I'm starting my senior year! I'll post more tomorrow when I get back.
