Who ever thought that education would cost this much? I honestly never thought I'd have to get a loan to pay for books. I just don't understand why we pay so much for education, but yet still aren't nearly "that smart." I paid almost $400 for my books today, and almost all of them were USED! Granted, I know the bookstore has to make some money - but I honestly don't understand why the companies have to come out with a new book each semester. Last semester I bought a Biology book for almost $200, and they turned right around and made a new one. Honestly, what "new" stuff did they learn about Biology in less than a year? Really....
I'm sure if we were to take a survey across the country, undergrad & grad students, we would all be paying entirely too much for books.
